ugly side of human nature.. =(

feeling down now..

cux of the incident i witnessed on the bus juz now..

i was taking bus 962 home from sunplaza when this pair of elderly couple, bout 70 year old+ and an middle-aged man boarded the bus on the 2nd stop..
the middle-aged man is somehow related to the elderly couple..
maybe their son or wad..
juz as they boarded the bus, the middle aged man started to tick off the elderly couple..
he scolded them so fiercely that everyone's attention is drawn to them..
despite everyone is watching him..
he continued to scold the poor elderly couple..
i can understand a bit of dialect..so i roughly noe wad they are saying..
tink the old man said that his son is a block of wood or wad..
the son not happy..so he scolded the old man
and even cursed his parents to die...
yet..the poor elderly couple juz kept quiet and put up with him..

then
in the mids of his anger..
the middle aged man pushed and slap the old man's head..

i was shocked..
and the sound of slapping triggered my tear duct..
the couple was standing jux next to me..
yet i could do nothing to help them..
pple on the bus shouted at him to stop..
he stopped hitting the old man...
but the cursing did nt...
i tried hard to hold back my tears...
but i couldnt..
cux i saw the tears in the old man's eye...
i noe that he is feeling v heartbroken and helpless inside...
but still he hold back his tears..
nt wanting to show a bit of sadness..
he pretended to be strong..
the old woman couldnt take it anymore and raised her hand..
wanted to hit the man
but the old man stopped her..
nt wanting to create any more troubles...

the old man is already so old and had to give in to the man..
yet he didnt feel remorseful about wad he did...
i find his doing so ugly, immoral and unfillial..
no matter how much u hated them..
they are your parents..
the one hu brings u to this world..
and gave u love, care and support...
even if they are nt ur parents..
they are so old enough to be urs..
how could u lay ur hands on them...
its so cruel to them..

then man latter alighted
leaving the old couple on the bus..
some of the passengers shook their head..
and the old woman kind of reprimanded his husband for nt letting her teach the man a lesson and not fending for himself jux now..
but the old man jux kept saying :"forget it..."
sympathised with them..

really v sad lo..
now when im typing this post
tears still couldnt help flowing down...
wanted to express my emotions and feelings in words..
but english nt v good..
so gt difficulty doing that...

in conclusion
this incident left a great impact on me..
made me c the ugly side of human nature..
and will remind me for as long as i live nv to treat my parents and elderly this way..
although sometimes they do things that made me hate them... x)

i jux hope that that man will get his retribution asap..
want him to regret treating his parents/elderly in that manner..
and i will curse him till he get his retribution..
